OL Lyon 1-0 Real Madrid: Makoun stunning shot

Lyon picked up their third successive home win over Real after the Cameroon midfielder Jean Makoun drove a stunning 25-metre shot into the top corner of the net in the 47th minute.
Earlier Ronaldo tried to set up Gonzalo Higuain in the box with a clever back-heel but Lyon's defenders reacted more quickly than the Argentine striker.
Sidney Govou went close for Lyon with two early volleys and the hosts almost broke the deadlock before the interval when a superb long-range volley by Cesar Delgado hit the post.

Real Madrid 6-0 Real Zaragoza: The biggest win

Real Madrid swept aside sorry Real Zaragoza with consummate ease at the Bernabeu, thumping the Blanquillos 6-0.
The game was over as a contest inside the opening 34 minutes as Madrid raced into a 4-0 lead through braces from the in-form Gonzalo Higuain and Rafael van der Vaart.
Manuel Pellegrini's side then added two more goals in the second half through big-money summer signings Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema - on his 22nd birthday - to record their biggest win of the season.
Pellegrini will also have been delighted to see his team keep a clean sheet in their first match without influential centre-back Pepe, who is set to miss the rest of the season through injury.
However, it was a forgettable night for Zaragoza coach Jose Aurelio Gay, who had been put in temporary charge of the promoted strugglers following last weekend's sacking of Marcelino Garcia Toral.
Madrid went into the match trailing Barca by five points but with a game in hand as Pep Guardiola's side had already played - and won - their round 15 match against Xerez over a week ago due to their commitments at the Club World Cup.
And with Barca stealing all the limelight with their record-breaking success in Abu Dhabi earlier in the evening, Madrid would have been desperate not to give their arch-rivals any further cause for celebration by slipping up against Zaragoza.
