Aston Villa 6-4 Blackburn Rovers: Dramatic to final

The drama happened ten goals in the second leg Carling Cup semi-final between hosts Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers, on Wednesday 20/01/2010. Villa won 6-4 and qualified for the finals with a 7-4 aggregate score.
Villa could have been left out of this tournament after Blackburn's two-goal lead until half-hour game. Nikola Kalinic scored for Rovers and made the visitors ahead at minute 10 and 26.
"The Villans' miss out through Stephen Warnock over his goal at minute 30. Benefit the host by the passing of Christopher Samba Veijeany on 39 minutes. Samba violations led to a penalty for Villa prize, which is executed very well by James Milner.
Villa won 1-0 at the end winning the first leg thanks to an own goal Steven Nzonzi in 52 minutes. In a five-minute intervals, Gabriel Agbonlahor and Emile Heskey in turn contributed to the fourth and fifth goals for Villa.
Surprisingly, ten players get up and chase Blackburn 5-4 through goals to Martin Olsson and Brett Emerton. However, Martin O'Neill's troops had caught up after Ashley Young Villa scored six long before the whistle sounded.
In the final, Villa will meet the winner between Manchester United and Manchester City. On the first leg, City won 2-1 over Manchester.
